PMU

What is PMU?

It is an advanced form of cosmetic tattooing, in which the pigments are inserted into the skin layer. This means that pigments cannot be washed off. Periodic maintenance (usually an annual color boost) is necessary because the pigments will fade over time. PMU is not like a normal tattoo. A normal tattoo is applied deeper into the skin, which is why a normal tattoo is permanent.

Terms used for these procedures are micropigmentation, PMU (permanent make-up), semi-permanent make-up or cosmetic tattoos.

preparation
  • Do not use alcohol, aspirin or chia seeds and blood thinners 24 hours before the treatment.
  • Lenses must be removed during the eyeliner treatment.
  • Do not use mascara when you come for your eyeliner treatment.
  • Do not use waterproof mascara or waterproof eyeliner or oil cleansing for 7 days before your eyeliner treatment. This leaves an invisible film layer on the skin, making it difficult for the pigment to be absorbed by the skin. Regular mascara or cleansing milk is allowed.
  • Eyeliners should not be placed if you wear eyelash extensions. Make sure these are removed at least one week before the treatment.
  • Do you use wipper growth serum? You should stop this 4 weeks before an eyeliner treatment.
BEFORE THE TREATMENT

Prior to the treatment, the practitioner will mark the desired area to be treated with you and discuss the color with you. So you know exactly where you stand before the treatment starts.

AFTER THE TREATMENT

The pigmentation is 40% darker than the final result during the first 10 days, so don't be alarmed by this and have confidence in your specialist! Your PMU will have a subtle and gentle effect after healing. You must handle the pigmentation carefully during the healing process. It is important that the pigmentation heals as quickly as possible with the best possible result. Therefore, carefully follow the instructions below that you will receive in your email.

price

You can have a PMU treatment from 50 euros.

Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FILLERS AND A SKIN BOOSTER?

Fillers - the word says it all - are meant to fill: volume loss that occurs in everyone over the years can be offset with fillers. In addition, lines and wrinkles can be treated with fillers so that they reduce or disappear. A skin booster does not fill, but stimulates cells in the skin, making the skin firmer, more elastic and fuller, without changing the contours of the face.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED WITH SKIN BOOSTER?

A skin booster can be used in different places to moisturize and improve the skin:

  • The face
  • The neck
  • The cleavage
  • The hands
  • The arms
  • The belly
IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?

The treatment with multiple superficial injections is experienced by most people as not very painful. Some bumps arise, which we massage immediately after the treatment. The bumps disappear quickly, the skin booster is spread through the skin and doing its work!

ARE SIDE EFFECTS TO BE EXPECTED?

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that occurs naturally in the skin. Hyaluronic acid is very well accepted by the skin for that reason.

The possible side effects of a skin booster are mild swelling, redness and sometimes a few bruises. This is caused by the injections rather than by the product itself and will quickly disappear.
