Refresh your color and hide any unwanted gray hair. Within all-over/single-process hair coloring there are three levels: semi-permanent, demi-permanent and permanent.

As their names suggest, they vary in strength and how long they last. Permanent color, lasts the longest.

Demi-permanent hair color is much gentler on your locks, but in return it won't last as long. It generally only takes 24 – 26 shampoos.

Semi-permanent hair color is the gentlest. If you're not quite ready to commit to a color, you can always try out a semi-permanent color before taking a chance.
