Quick science lesson: Acrylic is a combination of a liquid monomer and a powder polymer that form a paste that adheres to the natural nail. You can then shape it into the desired shape, as it dries it hardens adding strength, length and thickness to the nail.

DIFFERENCE BIAB AND ACRYLIC

Both acrylic and biab add a strengthening layer to the nail, but biab requires UV light to harden. Acrylic is much stronger than biab, making it more durable. It is best to use acrylic for an extension. But if you want to apply a strong layer of polish to your own nails, biab suits you better.

SAFETY ACRYLIC

Acrylic nails are completely safe. However, they do need proper maintenance. For example, it is important that you have them removed professionally and not do it yourself. The nail will remain in place for 6 to 8 weeks, but a refill is necessary after 3 to 4 weeks.
