COSMELAN

Cosmelan is an effective, non-surgical treatment for the appearance of pigment spots on the skin of Mesoestetic. This unique multi-ingredient chemical peel, specially designed for hyperpigmentation and discoloration of the skin. This is caused, among other things, by:

• UV damage
• Freckles, lentigo or nevus
• Hyperpigmentation of the skin
• Birthmarks
• Post-inflammatory pigmentation due to acne and acne scars
• Pregnancy mask (melasma)

Unlike some dermal peels, Cosmelan is well tolerated by all skin types and ages. It has a proven track record of effectiveness and does not contain hydroquinone, a controversial substance often used in skin lightening products but which can be very harsh and harmful. Instead, it contains multiple pigment-dissolving ingredients in one system, such as azelaic acid and kojic acid, natural acids, to maximize its effect.
