Een French manicure is een lichtroze, nude of transparante lak met een effen witte punt. Het kan worden gedaan op natuurlijke nagels of met een verlening van de natuurlijke nagel met acryl of biab. French manicure kan zowel als manicure als pedicure worden aangebracht. De lengte van de nagel hangt af van persoonlijke voorkeur, maar bij een traditionele french manicure is een punt kort en vierkant. Vandaag de dag is french manicure in allerlei vormen, lengtes en kleuren.
