Vaak worden deze behandelingen uitgevoerd na verwijzing van uw tandarts.<\/p>\n<p>Uw tandarts beoordeelt uw tandvlees tijdens de controle. Op basis van deze beoordeling bekijken wij samen met u de verschillende opties voor de behandeling van uw tandvlees. Afhankelijk van de staat van uw tandvlees en uw klachten, verwijzen wij u naar onze preventieassistent of mondhygi\u00ebnist.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"heading-3 dark\">Onze mondhygi\u00ebnist<\/h2>\n<p>Preventieve mondzorg is erg belangrijk om de mond gezond te krijgen, maar vooral om de mond gezond te houden. Onze missie is onder andere om eventuele tandheelkundige problemen te voorkomen in de toekomst: preventieve tandheelkunde. Onze mondhygi\u00ebnist is een ware specialist op dit gebied. De behandelingen van onze mondhygi\u00ebnist zijn gericht op uw tandvleesaandoeningen en gaatjes in tanden en kiezen.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"heading-3 dark\">De preventieassistent<\/h2>\n<p>Onze preventieassistent is een tandartsassistent die is opgeleid in het uitvoeren van preventieve handelingen en mondhygi\u00ebne. De werkzaamheden van de preventieassistent vari\u00ebren van het in kaart brengen van de conditie van uw tandvlees, tot het geven van voorlichting over de verzorging van uw gebit.<\/p>\n<p>Het belangrijkste verschil tussen een preventieassistent en mondhygi\u00ebnist is de opleiding en de aanvullende taken van een mondhygi\u00ebnist. Zo is de mondhygi\u00ebnist een hbo-opgeleide paramedicus met een door de wet BIG beschermde titel.
