PDO (Cog) threads can be inserted along the edge of the jawline and the lower half of the cheek. These wires can then be tied just below the earlobes. The wires are used to tighten the jawline and help improve the chin and marionette lines. The threads dissolve over the next 3 to 4 months and are converted into collagen production, which maintains the lift achieved. A PDO thread lift for the jawline can last up to 18 months.
