OurBelkyra / Kybella treatments

Belkyra, also known as Kybella, is a fat-dissolving injectable consisting of deoxyncholinic acid. Deoxycholic acid occurs naturally in the body and breaks down fat cells. This treatment is usually used to break down the submental fat, i.e. the fat under the chin. It takes 6 to 8 weeks until the end result of the treatment is visible. These results are permanent.

Treatment with Belkyra is an alternative to liposuction. The advantage of Belkyra is that the treatment is much less invasive. You will only experience a burning sensation in the treated area on the first day. The area will no longer hurt in the following days, but there will be some swelling. The swelling subsides after a few days and the results gradually become visible.
