If both parties agree, the treatment will take place directly after the consultation. The area is disinfected and marked before beginning. Then, the product is injected into the fat tissue under the chin with several small pricks.
The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes.

Immediately after the treatment, the deoxycholic acid causes the treated area to swell and turn red. Some bruising may also occur. These effects typically subside within 7 to 10 days, and the skin begins to recover quickly. You can generally resume your daily activities right away, though keep in mind the swelling under the chin may be visible. Cooling the area regularly can help manage swelling.

In the first week, the chin area will temporarily appear more swollen due to the action of deoxycholic acid. This reaction is necessary for achieving good results. After about 2 weeks, the first improvements will become visible. The full result is usually achieved after around 6 weeks. If necessary, you can undergo a follow-up treatment to reach the desired outcome. It is very important to follow your doctor’s instructions for optimal results and to avoid complications.

To minimize discomfort, we recommend taking two 500 mg paracetamol tablets three times on the first day. This is optional. You may shower the same evening or the next morning. For the first 2 weeks, avoid tanning beds, saunas, and direct sun exposure. UV radiation may increase skin sensitivity, cause pigmentation, and affect the outcome. Protect the area carefully with a high-SPF sunscreen during this period.
