If both parties agree, the treatment will follow the consultation. The area is disinfected before the procedure begins. Temporal hollowing is treated using Radiesse filler or Hyaluronic Acid filler. In most cases, a cannula is used. A cannula is a blunt needle that allows the filler to be placed precisely in the correct spot, minimizing the risk of bruising. This cosmetic procedure restores volume to the area, reduces wrinkles, and creates a more youthful appearance. The choice of method depends on the desired result and the doctor’s recommendation. The entire treatment takes approximately 30 minutes.

Results are immediately visible after the treatment. In the first few days, there may be slight overcorrection due to swelling. The optimal result becomes visible after about 2 weeks.

The effect of the treatment lasts around 9 to 12 months, although this can vary from person to person. The more often you undergo filler treatments, the longer the results will typically last.

It’s very important to follow the instructions provided by your doctor for the best results and to avoid complications.

You may experience slight swelling or bruising at the temples during the first 3 days, which will gradually fade. It is important not to massage the treated area within 48 hours after the procedure, unless specifically advised by the doctor. We recommend avoiding direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and saunas for the first 2 weeks.

UV exposure can make the treated skin more sensitive, increase pigmentation risk, and affect the final result. Be sure to protect the area well with a high SPF sunscreen during this period.

On average, 1 to 2 ml is used for a subtle enhancement. The exact amount depends on your personal needs and is discussed with the doctor prior to treatment.
